I arrived slightly late for my appointment. Although the staff was inundated with calls and customers, they were very professional and polite and welcoming and worked to get my car into the shop as promptly as possible. My car was serviced within the time window agreed and the cost quoted and I was offered a warm cup of coffee and treated kindly. I am very pleased with my experience and the service to my car. I went to Kniesel's for an oil chg and tire rotation. All of the staff were very considerate & provided a great customer experience. The car was serviced within the expected time given and a I was provided with a review of the work that was completed as well as recommendations for future servicing. I would definitely consider Kniesel's in the future should my car Ned servicing. more

I came in for an oil change, after purchasing a Groupon. I did have to reschedule my appointment due to a flat tire, and was pleased by the service writers ability to schedule me for later. Overall -- service writers were great! Oil change seemes to go well, and my flat tire was repairable,. However -- I was told that my 2 bottom tail lights were out. I told the service writer I would fix them myself. When I checked them later that night, they were both working fine. The technician had not turned on my headlights, only the daytime running lamps. Then I was informed that I needed to replace my entire power steering rack, a $1200 repair. When I questioned the technician about it, he made a gesture that there was a hole the size of a baseball in the rack or boot. My car has driven fine, and I have NEVER had any leaking power steering fluid that such a hole would leave. I was told "it's been leaking for quite awhile." I regularly service my vehicle, and was baffled how this was not pointed out before by any other mechanic. I took my car today to another mechanic. I was informed that the boot was cracked, but not so severe that the entire steering rack needed to be replaced. There has probably been some leaking fluid, but that is natural with a joint. This is a repair that can be made for under $50. I am severely disappointed by the service I recieved and feel that I was being taken advantage of by the technician. The desire to upsell a repair has never been so clear to me. The only reason I will return to this shop right now is because I have pre-purchased a service. more

Kniesel's has given me amazing service for many years now. Each time I go in, they all know who I am, and make sure that everything is done to make sure I am comfortable and my vehicle is safe and sound. Would not, and have not hesitated to recommend them to others! more

I took my car to the Roseville Service Center, without an appointment, because of a dead battery, and they provided the needed service. The staff were efficient, friendly, and effective. more

I took my car in for oil and lube and to have my brakes checked since they were making noise. They were able to do it all and have my care ready at 1pm. more

I don't know anything about cars and therefore I'm afraid of car mechanics, I'll admit it. I live in San Francisco and getting my car repaired there is always iffy. So my mom's friend referred me to Kniesel's in Roseville and I took my car in for an oil change. While there I mentioned to Jason some other things I was concerned about. Jason did some research and got back to me with more information and an updated quote. I felt very informed and taken care of. I took his advice and got more work done that just the oil change and my car is running much better. Thank you so much for everything! I am telling my mom to tell all her friends about Kniesel's, and I am too! more

I knew I needed new brakes but they found my fluids low or old and replaced. A hose broke while filling the air conditioning fluid; called me right away and I authorized. When I came to pick up the car Jason said the mechanic broke a rotor and replaced it free of charge. He did not have to tell me that; he could have lied, I find the establishment very honest and will definitely do business with them again. more

I would have given a higher rating but they didn't reset my oil change reminder message in the vehicle's computer when they completed my oil change. Also, I had drops of oil in my driveway when I returned home. Apparently, there was some oil that spilled over when they filled the oil that didn't get wiped off. more
