There is absolutely no reason you should rent from a company with no pride of ownership and such horrible service. The owner blatently told me that she had no interest in the longevity of her business and therefore had no concerns about the numerous complaints online or with the BBB. Not only rude and distrusting, but the owner did not even flinch when I told her that because of the ridiculous fees and service that none of my friends or family would ever use their service again. This store is convenient, but do your homework and check out other companies and the reviews for A-1 before you rent here. more

Never Again!!! 5/28/2010

This place is a rip-off, I rented tables, chairs, and linens from them for a special occassion. They shorted me 1 table linen and when I called them I was told I wouldn't be charged for it. Upon return of their products I realized that they had given me 10 extra chairs, being honest I returned them and informed the yard guy that there was 10 extra chairs. I was then charged for 1 table linen, even after I was told that I wouldn't be. Even after I returned the 10 extra chairs I was pretty told by Management that I was lying about the table linen. I will never go back there again!!! more

propane refill rip-off 7/26/2008

Very unsatisfactory and unfair. Charged a "minimum" upfront to refill a propane tank. Yard man was rude and would not say anything. He didn't, and wouldn't, fill the tank to full, which resulted in us being charged double the per gallon price. The clerk would not consider our complaint, and refused to fill the tank full or refund the unused "minimum." Understand they have several unanswered complaints with the BBB. Will NEVER return for ANYTHING! more

terrible service - rip off re propane 7/26/2008

First, the yard man for the propane was very unfriendly and would not say anything. They charged, up front, a ""minimum"" for propane refills, and then did not fill the tank. Would not fill when complained and would not refund or credit for the propane thus effectivelly charging twice the per gallon rate. We live in the area and have been around for years, but we will NEVER return for ANYTHING. more

Horrible customer service! When we had a dispute regarding a rental, an employee threatened my husband and I with a hammer. Found out that they have an unsatisfactory rating with a Business Bureau with 3 unanswered complaints in the past 36 months. Go somewhere else!!!
