My experience with A La Mode has been unmeasurably wonderful. They are always on time, and very professional. Alina always listens to what I would like to have done to my hair, and then offers her expert opinion. The salon itself is tastefully designed, with a cozy yet sheik look. The staff is warm and friendly, and they always accomodate one's schedule. Pros: well priced, ambience, good products more

At 'A LA MODE HAIR STUDIO', not only do you get the best service, you also get to work with the most experienced and talented hair stylists. Before I started getting my hair colored by Alina, my hair looked dry and the color was lifeless. Now my hair feels healthy and the color is just amazing. I constantly get compliments on my hair. Besides her being a skilled stylist, she is also very friendly. The atmosphere of the salon is excellent. Throughout the years I have struggled to be completed by the artwork of a hairdresser until that day I found a flyer. The flyer with was illustrated with the boldest colores featured ALina and her grand opening. After my first visit with ALina the artisit, let me say i have never looked so good. She is able to completed any idea you have on your hair if its color or an updo. Without a doubt i can say you never walk away without being satisified. A la mode is not just a salon or a place i go its something that i take with me. its my bounce back beautiful hair more

Finally got my color 8/31/2005

So many hairstylists can never meet your color expectations, finally after 8 hairstylists, I met Alina who saved me. For the color Queen, especially with highlights and Reds you must meet Alina. Now I'm on my way to her crispy fresh contemporary salon. Pros: great coloring, gorgeous extensions, fun & trendy more

Appts are always taken in ontime. Very friendly staff. Experienced hair stylists that know what you want. Do recommend to anyone that hasnt been there yet. more

I found a new stylist 8/28/2005

Alina is great with curly hair. I have been in LA for years, but my attempts at finding a stylist here were fruitless. So I resolved myself to get my hair cut whenever I was back in NYC. But this time around, my stylist was on maternity leave, I was starting a new job, and desperatly needed a new hair cut. The reviews on citysearch do not lie. This is a sensational new salon in Glendale with two stylist with a whole lot of experience. Alina took me to her chair right away, asked me what I wanted, washed and conditioned my hair, and gave me an amazing cut. All while making sure I was comfortable, and chatting with me. Overall it was a great experience. The true test: Last night I saw people I have not seen in months and they raved about my hair - THANK YOU ALINA!! Pros: Good price, truly a la mode, personable more
