The BEST cut I have received in Los Angeles... 2/16/2006

I have been to many different salons all over Los Angeles, many of them very high end, and this is the first time I have left the salon feeling happy about my haircut. Alina is a talented stylist and has an eye for what suits the customer. She listened and made suggestions based on my type of hair and the look I was striving for. She succeeded! I am definitely returning and will try color and/or extensions with Alina next. more

A la Mode is AMAZING! I love love love Alina....she is such a great stylist! Let me tell you why: #1. She did an FANTA-BULOUS job with my hair....and cut really nice bangs!!! #2. Alina is SO friendly and welcoming and really easy to work with!!! #3. It is such a cute little salon, parking was easy, and totally affordable!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! No worries here about looking fabulous! A la Mode is the best hair salon in Glendale! No waiting, on time, very-friendly and comfortable service. Alina really knows the perfect cut/style for your face and is definitely worth the money. If you live far, it is worth the drive. You won't be disappointed! My Search For A Great Salon Has Finally Ended 1/19/2006

I recently moved to Burbank from Michigan. Afer trying several salons in the LA area I was not able to find a place that could color and cut my hair in the same way it had been done in Michigan. On my very first visit to A La Mode Alina was able to perfectly re-create the cut and color I had before I moved to CA. What a relief it is to FINALLY find a person who knows what she is doing. I went to A La Mode salon based on the reviews on this website. I had just moved into the Eagle Rock area and needed a good hair stylist desperately (due to a hair color disaster that was making my hair break off). I got my long, middle-of-my-back hair cut up to my chin by Alina, and I absolutely loved it!! Very few stylists can make a short hair cut look so good that you don't miss the long hair, but Alina did it! The salon itself is adorable, looks like you're in someone's house getting your haircut, and Alina is so friendly that you instantly feel comfortable. I highly recommend A La Mode-in fact, I'm making another appt . to get a trim right after I write this review! :) Pros: Good stylists, Friendly, Cute environment Cons: Can't find any more

Alina's been doing my hair for the past couple of years and I never leave w/o feeling fabulous everytime. She's honest about what would go well with your looks and what would not. If you're looking for an awesome place with superb hair stylists, this is where it's at. It's also easy to find and there's convenient parking just a couple of steps away in the back. My experience with A La Mode has been unmeasurably wonderful. They are always on time, and very professional. Alina always listens to what I would like to have done to my hair, and then offers her expert opinion. The salon itself is tastefully designed, with a cozy yet sheik look.
