It is a nice building. However, Archstone has raised my rent 10% to about $4000 for a 1 bedroom. The 1 bedroom is dated with a formica kitchen and parquet floors. It is on a low floor. There is no balcony or washer/dryer. The same apartment is listed now for $70 more than my current rent. If you look on apartment ratings.com, you will notice all the tenants are having their rent raised 10-30%. There are a long list of available rentals on nybits because I suspect all the tenants have to leave after 1 year. You have to pay $75 a month for a dingy gym in the basement with no pool or classes (very few people actually use it). There is no roof deck.
