This neighborhood grocery store looks like an ordinary little grocery store until you reach the meat department and the long aisle of wines. There the place goes over the top and you realize you are in the midst of shabby chic. You'll find more than 1500 wines stocked with many handwritten descriptions and ratings dotting the shelves to help you with your selection. You can while away an afternoon in that aisle and best of all the prices are very competitive and you're likely to find wines here from little wineries that you won't discover elsewhere. And then there's the meat department where you will find good old-fashioned handmade sausages and other cold cuts and cheeses. In the italian section you'll find some great italian tomatoes and sauces as well. Best of all the folks that run the place are friendly, helpful and obviously love what they are doing. This store makes the saying "Small and Shabby is Beautiful" come true.
