Review content:
If you live in Canton, you need Patterson Park to survive. It's an oasis in an environment otherwise nearly devoid of trees and lawns. The park is pretty big and includes several nice features such as a duck pond, pagoda, swimming pool, fields, community gardens, etc.
It's a great place to walk your dog and most of the time people obey the leash law. Though it's defintely an urban park, you still get that sense of peacefulness that is otherwise missing in Baltimore. It's pretty safe too, at least during the daylight hours.
Patterson park has an active association and several community events are held in the park throughout the year. All in all, it's a haven.
