Businiess name:  Wilson Air Conditioning
Review by:  W F.
Review content:
Good: Friendly (most salesman are). Bad: Ethics are in Question. Tech came out to check air conditioning unit. Told me I needed a new unit. as the evaporator coil had leaks. $7,300 for a 13 seer unit or a new Coil would cost $2,500. Two other companies came out and found that the coil was only dirty. Wilson never visually inspected the coil to determine the true condition. During conversation with two other companies that came out a replacement cost for new coil was $1,600 and $1,200 respectively. Wilson is too expensive.. Improvements: Perform the necessary repairs at a reasonable price, rather than trying to sell new and overpriced units. When calling to speak to the owner, the operations manager indicated to me that he could do everything the owner can do. That statement is absurd and speaks volumes about the stupidity of management running this quagmire. I guess he thinks he can sell company too.. Other: While trying to get me to purchase rather than repair they stated that TRANE and the unit they sell (American Standard) are identical in every way. Not according to my sources. Upon calling the company back to tell them of my findings, the operations manager told me I could not speak to the owner, nor would the owner ever call me back. Wilson should consider selling insurance as that too is an industry full of thieves..
