Businiess name:  Medieval Festival - Fort Tryon Park
Review by:  L S.
Review content:
Every fall, the NYC Parks Dept helps produce a wonderful Medieval Festival in Fort Tryon Park in the Bronx in the area around the Cloisters. It is FREE but help support the fair by giving a donation at the wishing well. This is a whole day of fun especially if you have kids - you don't have to come dressed up but there are many folks who do. There are many booths throughout the fair selling charms, dragon jewelry, small lizards and puppets as well as educational booths with information about herbs and life in the middle ages. You can even have a dragon painted on your face or arm. There are medieval musicians, puppet shows, knights practicing, and jousts at the end of the day. You can bring sandwiches and picnic, a water bottle is a must and you can also buy refreshments at the fair as you stroll through the park. A fun day for all! Don't miss it!
