I was a member here for several years until the Northshore WAC opened. Mostly here for cardio and weights which seemed like an afterthought here. (Le Club caters mostly to tennis players and swimmers). The outdoor pool is what sold me, although when I got the tour, it was after the pool had closed, and was the epitome of serenity. Daytime at that pool was a rude awakening. Kid camp counselors SCREAMING to be heard over the SCREAMING children. Stay-at-home moms socializing while the kids ran, threw pool toys, splashed, and SCREAMED!!! Even headphones didn't drown out the decibel levels! The lifeguards sat quietly sunning and flirting with each other, during all this until I DARED eat a sandwich (from their outdoor grille) on the wrong side of the pool. Got quite the spanking from the lifeguard, who barked his reprimand, while the kids' behaviour was ignored. Complaints to management elicited no concern. Pam the Club manager literally LIED to me regarding motorcycle parking! I'd had enough of the bad attitudes so I switched to the Northshore WAC which has been a GODSEND for the northshore communities. MUCH less expensive too. I'm surprised Le Club is still open, as I see TONS of former members now at the WAC. Hmmm....imagine that! Pros: Outdoor pool Cons: Outdoor pool (kiddie hell, SCREAMING, running, CROWDED!!
