This is a dining destination equal to anything we have experienced in the NW and much farther afield. Unfortunately it isn't in downtown Portland, or they would have attracted the attention they deserve. The level of service is excellent. The quality of the food is excellent. We are yet another couple that travel to Portland a lot less than we did - there is nothing in Vancouver that comes close to the experiences we have had at Vesta - and we have been everywhere upscale over here multiple times. There isn't much in Portland that comes close either. I have had their lobster bisque four times and each one has been the same as the one before. Their crab and kobe bruschetta duo is a simply perfect appetizer. I had the onion tart last week and it was very original and superb. We enjoy their bread. And desserts. And coffee! Is there anywhere else in the area we can get Sleepy Monk when it isn't go to the beach weather? LOVE this place. Pros: Nice new blinds! No ugly Mill Plain view any more. 5-star food and service. Cons: None at all really
