Businiess name:  Yoko's Japanese Restaurant
Review by:  Naomi K.
Review content:
Owned and operated by a Japanese couple, they have their family members working there as well. You can see Yoko in a traditional kimono most nights and on busier evenings she's been known to sing a few Japanese songs on their karaoke machine. (I have yet to see an American diner get the nerve to get up and sing!) The Hiro boat for 2 is plenty to feed me, my mother, and my boyfriend. It comes with 2 soups and salads, teriyaki chicken and beef, stir fry vegetables with scallions, tempura vegetables, and the sushi and sashimi actually come served on a boat, if you have room, it also includes 2 servings of ice cream--your choice of red bean, green tea, or vanilla. Dinner service also includes the hot wash cloths when you sit down as well as a noodle dish as an appetizer. When the three of us share this, I usually order a separate sushi roll and another soup and salad, and we rarely have room for the dessert. You can sit at tables, a booth, the sushi bar, or the more traditional Japanese table where you take your shoes off and sit on a pillow.
