Businiess name:  Lazy Acres Alpaca Farm
Review by:  Pat C.
Review content:
Lazy Acre Alpacas, located in Bloomfield, New York is a family run farm that started in 2000. The farm resides in the Finger Lakes region, which is located just outside of Rochester. The family, works together running the farm that specializes in huacaya alpacas. The farm was started with carefully selected pregnant females that were able to produce top-breed crias. The breeding of alpacas is a controlled, aimed program at producing healthy, conformationally correct animals, with exceptional fleece quality. Set on two hundred acres in the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes, the alpacas enjoy lush pastures, comfortable loafing sheds and a heated birthing and treatment area. The excellent facilities here allow for healthy, happy animals. The animals are raised with constant handling and interaction with children, developing a gentle disposition in our herd. Your family will enjoy being up close and personal with these amazing animals. You will want to watch for the Annual Open House, there are demonstrations on weaving, tours up close with the alpacas in the fields. You can pet the babies and there's even a fashion show with sweaters, coats and scarves and mittens made out of the Alpaca wool. Truly amazing!
