I know this is not representative of everyone's experience at Savage, but here is how mine went: I was kept waiting for hours on end and finally handed a crappy deal late at night and asked to sign it. I know I should have walked, but I did sign it. Then I went out the next day and refinanced it. The joker who sold me the car was a childhood friend, so I really let him have it cause I thought that I was getting a deal by going to him, and instead got served up on a platter. That was 5 years ago. The vehicle is running good overall, but everytime I get in it I remember how I got burned. I guess it goes without saying that if you shop at a place that has the biggest, noisiest ads in the Sunday paper every week, you're probably being herded into the WalMart of car dealers: quick sale with no service. At any rate, screw Savage. May they get indicted for tax fraud or worse.
