Worst

Found them on Groupon for oil changes. Service dept. adds on HOURS of diagnostic fees without your permission! I don't trust them enough to go back for my last oil change.

Good Sales - HORRIBLE & Dishonest Service 3/4/2010

The sales went well - good price, good people to work with, but it's the service department that you need to look out for! Just before our warranty expired, the engine light came on with a P420 code (Catalytic Converter Inefficiency). We called it in and my wife took it in to be worked on. Instead of fixing the problem, they reset the light and sent her away! As a result, we are now stuck needing a new CC and O2 sensors - among other things - because they did not properly service it JUST to save on their warranty! We have a pending BBB case now as a result. I would NOT recommend them to anyone because of this! more

Great Purchase! 8/3/2009

I went to Savage 61 Dodge because I needed an upgrade from my old car and got into a Nitro! It's definitely a steal in my opinion. I got a good deal at a price that was with what I could afford! I'm just glad the salesmen weren't pushy to get the deal done. It actually took a couple days before I finally made up my mind, and I'm glad I chose to go with this dealership. The ride is smooth, hasn't given me any problems at all, as I've had this car for a couple weeks now. Definitely looking to add some accesories so I'll be headin to the dealership in the near near future! Thanks guys! more

Used car nightmares 12/29/2008

Purchased a used vehicle from Savage 61 Dodge in Feb '07. I have had nothing but problems. I was assured that this vehicle was a good vehicle because it came from a family member of a sales representative. It has been in the shop at least 7 times since Feb '07. It was in for one problem 3 times before the problem was resolved, and 4 times for another problem. This problem occurs approximately every 3 - 6 months and is costing me every time. Buyer Beware!! more

Negative experience 12/17/2007

I know this is not representative of everyone's experience at Savage, but here is how mine went: I was kept waiting for hours on end and finally handed a crappy deal late at night and asked to sign it. I know I should have walked, but I did sign it. Then I went out the next day and refinanced it. The joker who sold me the car was a childhood friend, so I really let him have it cause I thought that I was getting a deal by going to him, and instead got served up on a platter. That was 5 years ago. The vehicle is running good overall, but everytime I get in it I remember how I got burned. I guess it goes without saying that if you shop at a place that has the biggest, noisiest ads in the Sunday paper every week, you're probably being herded into the WalMart of car dealers: quick sale with no service. At any rate, screw Savage. May they get indicted for tax fraud or worse. more

Family run car dealer, no used car salesmen here! 8/20/2005

I bought my first car from Savage Jeep and Eagle about eight years ago. Since then, Savage has expanded to include numerous other car lines (Dodge, Toyota, Kia to name a few) but they still keep the same small business, the customer always comes first attitude. Since purchasing my car from the now extinct Jeep and Eagle, I have taken it to many small independent repair shops and all have yielded poor money losing results. The only time I have been given excellent service and value is when I have taken my car to Savage. Their prices are the best in the area and they truly make a point to get you the best offer. In a world where good car deals seem abundant, there is something about Savage auto group that sets them apart. Even thought they have grown in size, employees and sales, they are still the same small town, family run business that you can feel confident doing business with. more
