I helped a stray cat when she had kittens. When they were old enough,I called this vet to see what the rescue discount rate would be since I was working with a local rescue group to get them adopted. They had the gall to qoute $100 per female/85 per male!!! They said that this WAS the discount and that they regularly charged $300 per female. THIS IS A BALL FACED LIE!!! I have had cats altered there before for WAY less than $100. They are just trying to get full retail by 'claiming' that their reg prices are higher. People like me who try to help strays cannot afford to spend 500-600 dollars to spay/neuter and feels like being punished for trying to help. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VET EVER AGAIN!!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE GOING TO TREAT THOSE WHO RESCUE ANIMALS AS IDIOTS!!!!
