Review content:
Seems people expect that at the price, the dishes should be exemplary of classic cuisines of the countries represented...they're not, so try not to let your taste buds be confused by your comparisons. The food is tasty, and the dishes are their interpretations of native favorites of many asian cuisines...if you must have authentic Thai, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, and Vietnamese
food, this might not get it...but once again, all the dishes are quite tasty, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced- if anything any longer is. The bar is great, the surroundings quite pleasing, and if you do want the best in Japanese and sushi, just head on upstairs to TheHump, the sister restaurant (with it's own flight deck). Monday nights the big band jazz is incredible, usually without charge, no less...and...you can even dance a bit, if there's room! Whosoever cannot find goodness here...amidst the runways, fresh air, open views of the city and mountains must stumble about eternally, always grumbling about something, alas...pity to them and joy to those who visit this remarkable LA restaurant. Oh yeah, and if a waiter sticks his sleeve in your food...let him have it! But seriously, the waiters are well trained and supervised...every person and restaurant has it's off-nights, but this place is mostly on. And did I mention parking? No valet and no shortage of proximal parking. One flight up, take the elevator or the stairs...
Pros: Atmosphere, Monday Night Jazz Bands, Sports Bar, Food
Cons: terrible location...joking, of course! Great spot & parking!
