My son absolutely loves this place. It's a zoo away from the zoo. He loves all the animals and the train rides. He said he would ride the train all day if he could! The best time to go is in the spring when the weather is not too hot or early morning in the summer. We tried it during the heat of the day, and had to cut it short. Texas heat is too much to bear for us. Other than that this is a perfect weekend excursion. Make that anytime!
