My friends and I attempted to have dinner elsewhere, but after we were told a ridiculous wait time, we walked around Wallingford and came across Smash. A happy turn of events! We snagged an outside table and were doted on by an attentive server who guided us through the extensive happy hour menu. We started with their house made sangria, and couldn?t manage to move on and try anything else ? it was a perfect blend of wine and drunken fruit. The nicely sized portions of tapas consisted of olives, cheeses, salads, mussels, soup, and spreads kept us happy as we sipped away one of the nicest evenings this summer.
