Review content:
Hi Kristen. Our zoo is a wonderful place to go. And I am sure your son will like it.
The zoo has a train, who doesn't like a train ride? It is at an additional cost, but it is more than fair.
The zoo is in a nice wandering pattern so that you can get a good view of everything and anything and it is set up so that you see big animals and little animals all within a hundred yards. Some zoos are set up so that only reptiles are in one area and such.
The trees are large and overgrown, lots of great shade from the sun in the summer. And it is open year round.
If you really enjoy going to the zoo, you might want to consider getting a Zoological membership. With a membership pass, you can get into any zoo in the United States, and in a few other countries for free.
There is a parking charge at this zoo location though. Last year it was $8, I don't know what it is this year.
There are so many other places to visit also. What kinds of things are you looking for? Hopefully I can help you out more. Check out my posting on the Betty Brinn Museum. It's a hands on museum for KIDS! It is totally KOOL!!
Hope to hear back from you soon.
Krista
