Review content:
Dennis Hanvey is THE man to call when you have a tree that needs to be removed. We had 9 trees that were either dead or leaning on our property that needed immediate removal. Mr. Hanvey came to our home to view the situation and told us which trees he could handle (we had three very large trees that were leaning upon each other and toward our house, which he declined to cut given that he did not have the necessary heavy equipment to take care of it - how often do you get an honest answer like that?). He provided us with a VERY reasonable estimate and even gave us an idea of how much we should expect to pay from our "disaster area" that required a different contractor.
He was courteous and efficient in bringing down 6 trees. He is very easy to deal with and handles not only our own tree cutting, but has also worked for many of our neighbors. I actually got his name from a neighbor who had used him for several trees in her yard.
The only downside: he smokes a bit. But he actually tries to smoke away from the home and picks up his used cigarettes so they aren't decorating the yard.
Definitely a good person to work with when you have trees that need to come down.
