Review content:
The FPC is so breathtakingly beautiful, each greenhouse room houses plants from a different climate, from tropical to desert. All the plants are labeled and the displays teach you about weather, horticulture, animal-plant interaction, and lots more. There is an extensive ant farm, and you can feed the lorikeets by hand nearly every hour. The featured exhibits are awesome, whether travelling ones like the Chihouly glass or chocolate tree exhibits, or seasonal like the butterflys 'n blooms exhibit, they are all worth seeing and learning about. There is a cafe, which is good for a quick snack, and a small gift shop. The grounds are perfect for flying a kite, taking a walk, shooting off a model rocket, or just playing on the playground. We go so often, we bought a membership for the family. Check out their list of fundraising events too: the Mother's Day plant sale, the wine tastings, the dinner-and-meet-the-artist get togethers are great for grown-ups.
