Perry just helped us buy our home in Issaquah. This was one of the easiest real estate transactions my husband and I have had--especially considering we were doing almost everything from San Diego.
We talked to Perry on the phone and exchanged some emails before we met him to look at houses. Through our phone and email conversations, Perry had a very good idea of the type of home we were looking for. We were only in Washington to look at houses 1 day, and Perry made the most of it. We looked at about a dozen homes and found the perfect one for us. We wrote an offer that evening, but since we still had to work out some job details, he waited for our go-ahead to submit the offer 2 days later. He did, and the sellers accepted with no contingencies.
Throughout the entire process, Perry was in constant communication wtih us, keeping us posted on every aspect of the transaction--financing, inspections, escrow, etc. He even arranged for a housecleaning service to clean our new home for our arrival. He never tired of our constant questions, however trivial they were.
If you want a real estate professional who will actually work for you, be honest with you and make himself available, Perry Maddux is your guy.
Update 6/14/04: Since a 5 star rating meant "perfect" and darn near nothing in life is "perfect" I gave Perry 4 stars; however, after reading others' posts, I realize I was being too much of a hard a--, so I've now given him a well-deserved 5 stars.
