We took our dog to Neel and saw Dr. Dutta, we were told she has a double ear infection which was causing issues with her eye as well. After eye stain, medication in her ears and several prescription medications we were told once the ears cleared the eyes would too. We walked out $200.00 later for a double ear infection and a note that they will recheck ears in 2 weeks. We called 10 days later to say there is no improvement whatsoever only to be told it would be a $31.00 recheck fee plus any additional medications she may need. So they Misdiagnosed my dog, and then charge me to recheck because the medicine they used and charged me for did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue they diagnosed? I understand paying for different treatments, but to be charged to recheck when they misdiagnosed her the first time is ridiculous. Clearly it’s about money and not about the animal. We’ve been coming to Neel for over 10 years and never had this kind of issue. We were told it’s up to the doctor whether they waive the recheck fee and received a call back this morning stating it would not be waived by Dr. Dutta. Meanwhile my poor dog is the one suffering. So we will be finding a new Vet that can accurately diagnose and treat her.
