dont use this hospital!!! 1/12/2022

I wouldnt advise anyone to use this hospital! My Andre ate some stuffing out of a blanket and we got him to the hospital quickly. The Dr. advised that the surgery worked 90% of the time, it would cost between 5000 and 7000.. At this point Andre still had energy and life, what was I suppose to do besides take them at their word. The hospital discharged him to come home super quick rather than hold him a few more days to make sure the surgery took and no infection set in and he never recovered. we rushed him back yesterday and were told "something must have been missed".. I feel like the staff noticed how much my wife and I loved our dog and that we both worked and they took advantage of us and sold us false hope.. Had he lived, the total of $6100 would have been worth every penny. Additionally, their communication is AWFUL! we were told multiple times.. "give me 1 minute and I will text you / call you back" and we waited hours and couldnt get anyone to pick up the phone or return a text. more

scammers 2/26/2019

i would give them less than one star if possible, ignored our concerns then tried to charge us thousands for unnecessary testing, went to our regular vet the next day and the problem ended up being what we thought when they ignored us. left spending 1/20 of what neels wanted to charge more

Worthless! 12/16/2018

My husband and I were on our way home from the grocery store and saw a stray dog in the median of a highway. She didn't have a collar so we brought her to Neel to see if shs was chipped. She was. The front office attempted to call the owner and were given multiple numbers by the orginal chip contact. Also note: with each call they told the person on the other end their dog was at Neel. My husband and I waited for as long as we could but, needed to leave. We told the front office and they threw a fit saying "You can't just wait a few more minutes?!?" No... we can't. We have waited longer than we should have. Their recommendation/solution was to take the dog to a kill shelter. We didn't. We have multiple rescues and will never leave a dog at a kill shelter. Instead, we left the dog at Neel in hopes the owner was on their way. Bottom line: They would rather you take a dog to a kill shelter than take care of it for an hour-ish. Some Vet.... Avoid this place at all costs!!!! more

Misdiagnosed my dog 12/5/2018

We took our dog to Neel and saw Dr. Dutta, we were told she has a double ear infection which was causing issues with her eye as well. After eye stain, medication in her ears and several prescription medications we were told once the ears cleared the eyes would too. We walked out $200.00 later for a double ear infection and a note that they will recheck ears in 2 weeks. We called 10 days later to say there is no improvement whatsoever only to be told it would be a $31.00 recheck fee plus any additional medications she may need. So they Misdiagnosed my dog, and then charge me to recheck because the medicine they used and charged me for did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue they diagnosed? I understand paying for different treatments, but to be charged to recheck when they misdiagnosed her the first time is ridiculous. Clearly it’s about money and not about the animal. We’ve been coming to Neel for over 10 years and never had this kind of issue. We were told it’s up to the doctor whether they waive the recheck fee and received a call back this morning stating it would not be waived by Dr. Dutta. Meanwhile my poor dog is the one suffering. So we will be finding a new Vet that can accurately diagnose and treat her. more
