Review content:
At first I did not know exactly what would be going on during pulmonary rehab and I thought it would just help me to breathe better. My expectations were for me to get stronger and I have improved greatly and have made a lot of progress. The first day I rode the bike for 10 minutes and I was very pleased. Everybody is very encouraging and always willing to answer my questions. I enjoyed the people, camaraderie, and the exercise equipment. Everything was always very nice and clean. All of the therapists here are very good at their job, they are very understanding, caring, knowledgeable and concerned about your welfare. I think I benefited most from the consistent encouragement and learning pursed lip breathing techniques. Prior to this I was very sedentary. I never wanted to leave the house and I would watch hours and hours of TV and just think about what I would like to be doing instead if it weren't for my condition. It feels great to get out of the house and to be in a positive environment where I am doing something for my benefit. It was also great to be in the company of other patients sharing their experiences and I received valuable knowledge about which home health and DME companies to work with for my home health needs and which ones to stay away from. I'm glad I had this experience and I would like to come again. I would recommend this program to anybody!
