I called and said the problem was slow draining toilet,was told basic service charge of $39 plus any work to be done which was ok.Then at visit told that charge would total $287 to use manual auger to clear toilet.I declined,bought a manual auger at Hardware sales for $10 and cleared it myself. Service plumber was very courteous and understanding,but I think when calls are taken on phone you should say what the minimum work charge will be if itoilet can be easily with the manual auger.Sure,if you need to bring out the power auger I can see more expense,but $287 for a quick manual cleanup?Really?
