Businiess name:  Coit Carpet & Drapery Cleaners

Review content:
Cleaning itself was good but everything else was a major "FUBAR". The cleaner they sent in was 80% salesman & 20% cleaner. He talked my wife into additional cleaning using a slick gimmick that reminded me of a used car salesman! And I later confirmed that sure enough he was paid on commission! The biggest problem was that the invoice was so marked up and the last of five copies as per the young man delivering the returned carpets, that we could not properly figure out what was the new balance. Even the delivery man kept having to call back to the company accounting office to get an amount when we kept asking questions. Also it was never stated to my wife that there would be a $50 delivery charge to bring back our carpets as we spent over $600 for the whole fiasco. Plus we basically had to rely on their honesty as to what we still owed as none of the numbers tied back to anything that we could see on the illegible invoice. As a retired accountant , I did not appreciate having to simply take their word for the new balance, as it was clear competency had now entered the picture and was in question. We have been a long time customer for over 35 years, this home and our first one, but we will look elsewhere for carpet & upholstery cleaning in the future.
