Review content:
I had a sales rep come and price a tile and grout cleaning for my shower and bathroom tile. It's only 5 years old. Due to no window in the BR there is mildew issue that I am unable to keep under control. I was told that it could be improved tremendously but probably not completely eliminated. Okay, fine. At 40% off, I'll try it. I was told the techs were very experienced and do a great job. I requested a very experienced one. The tech arrived and was very friendly. Upon arriving, I asked him about his shoes, that we don't wear our shoes on the white carpet in our bedroom which you have to walk thru to reach the bathroom. He said my shoes are fine and walked right thru there. He said he would pre spray the mildew then clean it. I told him the sales rep said they he would use a brush to scrub it. He didn't comment and did not scrub it I noticed later. He went to get the equipment and set up. I decided to lay down towels on the carpet to protect it. Good move as he had water on my wood floors and kept his shoes on and drug the hoses across the carpet as well (they had been on the black top parking lot outside) He completed the shower and asked me to look at it. I noticed the inside of the tile where you step inside the shower was still very dirty. I asked him to clean it again. He said he would. He finished. Lots of pooled water was left on the tile floor. Not sure why. When he left, I went in and sopped up the excess water with the towels and looked in the shower and noticed the area he "cleaned" again was still not clean. I ran the towel across it and it came back with mildew all over it. I then noticed as it was drying, the shower floor still had soap scum on it. I then proceeded to clean the floor again and the mildewed area again and after another hour of cleaning and drying, the shower and bathroom finally looked pretty good. The service most definitely was not worth the $193.00 I paid. The tile that was steam cleaned was clean but it wasn't really "dirty" to start with. This is definitely not a procedure that should be done by a carpet cleaning company. It's just not the proper technique.
