I found Dr. Kornegay about 15 years ago after having a really bad experience with a "chain" type dentist office in Deland. At the end of my rope with that "insurance approved" dentist, I asked a family friend who was a retired oral surgeon about how to find a local dentist without picking one from the yellow pages. He told me to find a dentist who was a member of the professional organization Acadamy of General Dentistry. Fellows and Masters of the AGD follow a lifelong pursuit of continuing education to provide the highest quality of dental care to patients, and to remain current in their profession by continuing to learn new techniques for their dental practice. My husband and our 3 children, are all pleased with the care and personal service we receive at this dentist's office. Both "Dr.James" and his son "Dr. Tim" are highly recommended.
