My Jeep broke down outside State College coming back from Pittsburg PA. I had the car towed to the Pep Boys in State College at 4:00 PM. The manager promised to look at the car the same day. Three hours later we were told that they were running late with the other service jobs and therefore they weren't able to look at our car. I spoke to the manager again that we were stranded and needed to return home in Stroudsburg PA. His response was extremely rude and demeaning. He added ?Sorry, we are doing our best......? Then I asked why we were promised that they would look at the car and they didn't for more than 4 hours that we waited? We got the same response ?Sorry, We are doing our best...". At 8:00 PM Pep Boys closed and we were forced to spend the night at a hotel. The next day I took my car to Sears and had it fixed with no problems. Stay away from these guys. They should not be using such deceiving techniques with customers. If they cannot handle a car they should be
