I took my daughter to the Battleground Urgent Care to be turned away by the receptionist who advised me that they did not except Medicaid if a doctor's name was on the card. The receptionist then referred me and my sick child to our regular doctor. When we were able to see our doctor she said that the information that was given to us was not true, that is what urgent care offices are for. I mentioned my experience to family member who told me to look up news footage of how they dumped medical files without shredding them. Bad experience, yet I am glad that the receptionist turned us away.
