took my 1 1/2 old dog to the vet because he stopped eating (this is a dog that gobbles food) this had gone on for 1 week -( stopped eating on Sun. took in on Fri) kept repeating to the vet that he had not eaten for a week and that was not like him,( he likes to eat sticks and rocks) they did blood work to rule out a number of things the vet was worried about his heart rate, which i kept telling them he hates the car and was very nervous... took x-ray of dogs stomach came back in room asked me again when the last time he ate was told them 1 week ago said there was a grey matter in his stomach but we are more worried about his heart you should go back to regular vet very worried about his heart should not wait we should have an ultra sound done right away on him ( but the people they call in to do ultra sound we all in a conference and no one could come in... go to Redbank... called back on Tuesday because dog was still not eating told me to go see a specialist... called Highland Vet in
