Businiess name:  Thai Therapy by Mary
Review by:  Mary H.
Review content:
As someone who has had neck and shoulder pain most of her life, I have been worked on by a lot of massage therapists in various cities and am extremely grateful to have had Mary as my home-city massage therapist for several years now. I love deep tissue work and Mary delivers that...but only when it is necessary; through seeing her, I've developed an appreciation for bodywork that uses the right amount of pressure for the situation to coax knots and tension away instead of consistently attacking with brute force. My post-massage pain-free state lasts for several days after seeing Mary, in contrast to the hours of relief I get from most massages. I recently received a massage from Mary the day before flying coach to Australia (34 hours of travel time including one 14 hour flight) and arrived at my destination pain-free. As an indication of my regard for Mary, I sent my mother to her when she visited Boston. I also referred several of my friends who appreciate Amanda's nonjudgmental attitude towards the sports, activities, and lifestyles that have generated various bruises, knots, and patterns of tension. Her rates are reasonable for someone of her skill and experience level. I value authenticity and genuine connection, which are present in Mary's friendly and bubbly personality as well as her enthusiasm for the healing benefits of massage, dedication to volunteer massage work with the elderly and hospice patients, and continued education in therapeutic massage modalities to integrate into her work. If I sound effusive about Mary's awesomeness, it is because I have come to regard her as a friend in my time as her client, which is, in and of itself, a strong endorsement.
