I moved my girlfriend and her friend into the Timber Ridge Apartments and I couldn't believe what I saw. First, upon walking up to their unit the hallways were damp and musty. When I got to their door, I turned the knob to see if it was unlocked and the door opened even though the deadbolt had been engaged. Now, the actual unit itself probably hadn't changed much from when the previous occupants were living there. The carpet had been replaced, probably due to the fact that the previous inhabitants had owned a dog. The dog poop along the bottom of the vertical blinds proved this theory correct. The kitchen cabinets had been pieced together with used bits of particle board and the stove was flecked with paint. Now, this would make you think that the place had been painted, but that was not the case. If you looked at the wall you could see where various holes had been patched and a paintbrush was run over them, but not with matching paint.The deck was quite another adventure. The rails ha
