Luis from FCD came out to replace a spring. Luis immediately began the up sale with how junkie our current garage door was. In an effort to avoid any misunderstanding I made it very clear he was there to replace the spring, that is it. I explained that I was going to upgrade to a commercial door and do a cedar face on the front of it but not until next year. Luis has a problem letting things go but he eventually went and fixed the spring. Afterward Luis made my wife very uncomfortable by attacking my vision for our door and trying to point out the negatives of doing so. He basically would not shut up. He made my wife very uncomfortable. Next day I called around and what they charged was minimum 100 high, two of the people I called were 200 less. I called FCD and no luck just more of Luis arguing the merits of a cedar door with me. Luis also told us that the two springs would provide additional capacity but I looked up the part today and the two he installed barely equal the one we had. In my opinion, besides being disrespectful, we were over charged and did not get what was promised. I have filed a report with the BBB and am considering small claims court.
