Review content:
The Mental Notes are a very, very entertaining acapella troupe in Baltimore. These Johns Hopkins students are infamously known for their Hawaiian shirts, funny on stage antics, and incredible vocal talent. They perform several shows a year and usually do one regional or national tour a year. The MN also have several CDs out, all of which are great. Though most of their songs are all covers of popular 80s and 90s hits, nothing beats the Mental Notes' spin on acapella performance. Concerts are usually held in Bloomburg Hall's Schafler Auditorium or in Shriver Hall; tickets are usually $5 or less.
