My son attended this daycare for over eight months and would still be there if not for my change in jobs that took me to the South Bay. \r \r As my maternity leave started to come to and end, my husband and I started seriously researching day care options for our son who would be two months old when he started day care. Starting a kid in daycare so young really limited our options (especially finding one close to my office), because many places required kids to be three or six months old. We fortunately found two places; one of which was Poway Country Preschool. We made an appointment for a visit, took a tour and shortly enrolled our son. Truth be told, one of the main reasons for choosing PCP at the time was the proximity to my office. But if I had the opportunity again, I'd choose PCP for many other reasons. \r \r My son's primary caretakers/teachers in the infant/toddler room, Miss Christine and Miss Sarah, were absolutely wonderful. I truly felt like they (and Miss Emi and the other PCP staff) cared about his well-being and development, which was comforting to me as a working mom who dropped off her son at 7:00 in the morning and picked up at 5:45pm. They helped with tummy time, getting him to sit, crawl, transition to solids, and all the other things infants do from three to nine months. I think he also loved being around all the ""big"" kids. \r \r If we end up moving nearby in a few years as we hope to, I will definitely re-enroll my son at PCP!
