We got three bids and did some research on roofing. Best Roofing's representative sat down with us and discussed the options. He carefully and patiently explained what a new roof would entail. He answered all of our questions, even the dumb ones, with courtesy and professionalism. We discussed flashings that would protect extrusions from the roof (vents, etc.) and Best was able to provide lead vice plastic/aluminum for literally only a couple of dollars more. He recommended a roof vent (which will save us heat/AC money) and the price was still less than the next bid. The selection of shingles and colors was great and we got a high quality product from GAF that still kept the price competitive with the other bids. When we made the decision to choose Best Roofing of VA, Mr. Harrelson, the representative, visited us again to take care of the contract and to explain the installation procedure. When it came to the rebates, he hand-wrote exact instructions. He told us that we would get a call a couple of days before the installers came. And, the materials would be delivered the day before installation. It all worked exactly as he promised. The installers were quick, careful, and courteous. They started early, worked like Trojans, and were very safety conscious. Because it was a hot day, we offered cool water, but they declined because they came prepared for the heat, the company required it. Clean-up was perfect; although, we found one (but only one) nail left over. We are very pleased with the work, the look of the new roof, and the guarantees for workmanship and material. Best Roofing of VA has my best recommendation!
