Warrior's Cove is a well rounded mixed martial arts gym that offers realistic training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Judo, and Eskrima. They offer free women's self defense seminars, competition team training, and family and children's classes. \r \r I have been a member for nearly a year now andtrain in their MMA class, which encompasses all of the martial arts styles they offer training in. The instructors are very nice and experienced, some are professional fighters and ex-military. Every time I have ever been to a class or the Burnsville facility, there is always a very welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is respectful and very helpful. Advanced belts help out new white belts, instructors are always very kind and helpful and the training is pretty intense. Some train to become professional fighters, others train to just lose weight and learn how to defend themselves against a possible street attack.\r \r If you want a safe but intense workout with a great group of people, I highly recommend this place! No egos. No ""tough guy"" stuff. Some of the instructors are actually pretty small and they can easily take down larger members. Men, women and children are welcome (children are only able to train in specific classes suited for them under adult supervision). They also offer a free month long trial where you are welcome to try any of their classes at any of their locations. They are also really great at getting back to people who have questions.
