I believe whole heartedly that people share more bad experiences with businesses than they do good ones. I am about to share with you just what I think of a local business, its owner, and their incompetent mechanic. Recently my scooter broke down and I took it to a local store, Scooters of Boise, having heard things here and there about them I figured that was the place to go. When I dropped off the scooter I requested that the owner have them look at it and assess what needed done, then contact me and we would discuss the work. Instead, the mechanic did the work, did not call me until it was done, and then gave me the cost of 236 dollars. I went down to scooters of boise to speak with the owner about this outrageous price and find out why the work was completed without calling first. She basically said that I should be happy they completed it 2 days sooner than anticipated and that I had no right to be mad.....well, Kathy......I'm in customer service and this was mistake # 2...your first was doing the work without my knowledge....then telling a customer that they are wrong for being mad.....no, no, no!! Now, 4 days later the scooter breaks down....hmmmmm, suspect....I think so! I have already had issues once with the store so of course I don't want to take it into them again and have them try to rip me off.....so I had someone else look at it. They were able to discover the mechanics mistake.....a ROOKIE MISTAKE!!! He forgot to attach the screw for the throttle to the carb.....hmmm. This awesome gentleman helping me, reconnected it, re-adjusted the carb and she is running like a champ.......When I called to speak with KATHY at the store this morning to discuss them paying this other gentleman for his services she laughed at me and said I would never be happy and that we were done and hung up on me. Well, Kathy, I will never recommend anyone visit your store, buy anything from your store, or even attempt getting decent customer service from your store. SCOOTERS OF BOISE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!
