Just Average: My wife and I are BBQ lovers and I was born in Atlanta, so I have eaten at most BBQ places over the last 60 plus years, but we would not make a special trip to eat there again. Service was good, our waitress was very pleasant but the food was lacking in same quality. Brunswick stew was below average-couldn't even finish it, coleslaw....same as stew, I prefer the creamy, but I this wasn't even good vinegar based...couldn't finish it. Pulled pork...not too bad, ribs average, chicken....ok, beef tips...just ok. The main problem was that if you took away the sauce, the plain meet was very low in flavor and dry!!! BBQ style meat should have a distinct taste alone, the sauce should simply accent the taste not cover it up. When the food came, the ribs and chicken were covered in sauce, which meant that is all we could taste unless we cleaned off all the sauce...then it was dry! ......and they have the SC Mustard sauce.....don't they know that the old favorite is North Carolina Vinegar based and is so much better than the mustard based. But regardless.....improve the basic flavor, rub the ribs and keep the sauce on the side.\r

In summary, just another average BBQ place!!!
