Review content:
I took my dog to get his vaccines updated and for a general checkup. It turned out he had a minor ear infection and we were given drops to treat it. I ended up paying nearly $500 for that visit because of a costly ""microsope test"" that the vet performed on his own accord without discussing it with me. When I questioned it, the receptionist told me the vet will do what he thinks is right for the dog and that's that. I don't appreciate that kind of emotional blackmail - ie. if I argue with them, I must not care about my dog?? Whether or not it was the right thing to do, it is required of vets and human doctors to explain the purpose and costs of certain procedures before performing them. I found this to be unprofessional and quite frankly, I felt cheated. I won't be going back. P.S. we also used their on-site groomer and I believe it's after a visit to them that my dog got his ear infection (due to water getting in the ear during his bath)
