Dr. DeHaro was incompetent and condescending - a bad combination. When I called after hours to ask about my infant who was not taking a bottle, and crying uncontrollably. When I returned from work I learned my son had not taken a bottle in hours and was not able to be consoled- very unusual for him. Dr. De Haro was paged and immediately said, "MA'AM, here it is almost 7:30 at night, is the baby in bed?" I said no and went on to try to explain my concern about dehydration as the baby had stopped taking the bottle hours ago and was crying and not consoloable. He said, "MA'AM put the baby to bed." When I asked about dehydration he said, "MA'AM He is not going to dehydrate overnight." He didn't ask what the child had drank that day, didn't ask if he had urinated, didn't explain when we might need to be concerned about dehydration or other things to look for. I was stunned into silence. I have never been talked to by a Pediatrician that way.\r
