I found Dr. Durand to be unlike most doctors who give you the usual 3 or 4 sheets of paper to fill out, spend a few minutes in the exam room, then send you on your way with your prescriptions and pay receipt. I was really surprised when I spent about an hour answering questions on my past history going back as far as I could remember, all of which was put into a computer. Then Dr. Durand spent personal time asking me more questions until he had the most comprehensive medical history any doctor had ever taken. He then, I assume based on my history, ordered tests. The lab took 22 vials of blood and 24 hour urine test.The technician at the lab said that wasn't that much for Dr. Durand. Everyone at the lab raved about him, in fact when I was looking for a Rheumatologist it was Dr. Durand's name that kept coming up. Everyone said the same thing, if I was sick, he will help me. Dr. Durand is a unique, compassionate and gifted doctor. I consider myself very lucky to be his patient.
