I finally found a Dr. that really wants to help figure out what is wrong with me, or did i?, he had so much blood work done on me on the first visit, i am a little scared by other reviews now, i will see once i go to my follow up appointment next week and will keep you all updated. i thougth maybe he was having a bad day when i went, he was complaining about the Govt. and Ins. as well as one of the other viewers. will keep you all updated from my next visit. more

I regret seeng this dr but at the 2nd visit I realized he is off his rocker. He spent 1/2 hour complaining about the American gvnt and how insurance companies are corrupt. He also blled my ins co for 2 diagnostic test that were not performed so I notified my ins co fraud line. His office is dirty. He also gave my med info to access one which I did not authorize and I am repoting him for that. He also prescribed way too much medication according to my md. She said she knew who he was and not to go back. She set me up w/a good dr. Please, avoid this dr at all cost. He's a rip off. I had my husband come w/me on my 2nd visit and he also thought this dr was a quack, greedy and bitter. more

I found Dr. Durand to be unlike most doctors who give you the usual 3 or 4 sheets of paper to fill out, spend a few minutes in the exam room, then send you on your way with your prescriptions and pay receipt. I was really surprised when I spent about an hour answering questions on my past history going back as far as I could remember, all of which was put into a computer. Then Dr. Durand spent personal time asking me more questions until he had the most comprehensive medical history any doctor had ever taken. He then, I assume based on my history, ordered tests. The lab took 22 vials of blood and 24 hour urine test.The technician at the lab said that wasn't that much for Dr. Durand. Everyone at the lab raved about him, in fact when I was looking for a Rheumatologist it was Dr. Durand's name that kept coming up. Everyone said the same thing, if I was sick, he will help me. Dr. Durand is a unique, compassionate and gifted doctor. I consider myself very lucky to be his patient. more

Wow!!! I was shocked to see the previous review...But, I agree with it 10,000%...I have worked for dr's for years and have never seen such an untrained, unorganized, horrible & rude group of staff..They talked on their Cell phones & I sat in his office for 20mins before anyone even spoke to me. Then I sat in his waiting room for 2hrs..My thoughts were "maybe he's a really good dr". Nope it was a horrible experience. They tried to give me a shot & when I asked what it was she had to go ask. Then he did a biopsy on some spots I have on my legs..He had a bottle of Saline & Liocaine on his desk and tried to deaden the spot with saline and it hurt like nothing I've ever felt before. His response was"you need to learn to control yourself " I asked him why he wasn't using the Liocaine, he just had a dumb look on his face. As if that wasn't bad enough, he then made me take my own lab to LabCorp..Then billed me for things that were never done. My lab results came back & he said he didn't unders more

150,000 words would be needed to tell you what a horror this Dr is.... Highlights: 2 office visits were $3,000. Spent 99% of the "visit" on his computer putting in notes of lies. My husband's medical record said this Dr did a complete physical which he did not do. 1st visit billed for 4 shoulder shots of $800.00 which were not done. 2nd visit when my husband firmly declined an MRI.... 10 minutes later the Dr had him place his hand in a machine and billed us $1,200 as an MRI !!! Did not request recent labs from our family doctor. Had us visit with his wife about a special diet, then we found that she is not a dietian. Wanted to do a sleep study (for rheum arthritis ???) Prescribed a steroid which our family Dr said no patient w/diabetes should be taking. My husband ended up with an infection due to the drug. We were shocked this "Dr" had a diploma with a different name on his wall... And after all this the Dr still had no real diagnois. I have worked health insurance for years. more
