It has been almost 3 years now since our beautiful Golden Retriever, Henry Lee got very sick and we had to put him down.That had to be on a scale of 1-10 , a 10 on the stress scale.Dr. Yoeman's and all of the staff at Brookwood had always made us feel like Henry Lee was the most special dog they cared for. It did not change when he got so that he could no longer walk in on his own to see them.I could not carry a 90 lb golden and remember Dr. Yoeman's going out to the car himself to carry him in.Though we knew the time was coming closer, that we had tried everything from alternative care to standard . There was never any pressure, just understanding and giving us the truth.On the day we carried her in, I think we knew that this would be the day. I will never forget the caring and support, and even the tears that were shed by the staff as we said goodby to Henry Lee, our friend and pet for almost 13 years..Time has passed and finally, after much pleeding from our daughter,we got another
