... because my cat had a stone blocking his urethra, and my vet had been unsuccessful in removing it after trying for several days. He needed desperately to get the stone dislodged and a catheter placed.\r \r I took my cat in at 6 PM, and they had the specialized equipment needed to remove it without surgery -- but would have been able to surgically remove it if it was necessary. They were able to get the catheter in place by 8:30 PM. \r \r I picked my cat up at 7 AM and the vet explained everything they did and gave me the chart to take back with him to my vet -- he also faxed my vet all the information. My cat is still at my vet's office for monitoring, since he was a very sick kitty, but he is a lot better now.\r \r This place is expensive, but so is the emergency room for people. I'm glad they have the specialized equipment and skilled staff, so that if my cat is hurt in the middle of the night, he'll get the best care.
