Businiess name:  Banfield Pet Hospital

Review content:
I took my cat into this Banfield location five days ago, 2/11, after I had seen several TV ads within the week stating that the first office visit would be free. I wish I could find a copy of the TV ad now, because I believe that it stated that the special was running during most of February, but I cannot prove its content.\r \r After I got home with my pet and his antibiotics, and after having paid the $290 bill, I realized that I had been charged circa $35 for the office visit. I telephoned Banfield today, 2/16, and spoke with ""Dana"", who checked the date of my visit and then told me that the free office visit offer had expired on 2/6, five days BEFORE I was in there.\r \r The thing that makes me suspicious about the veracity of Dana's claim is that I checked the Centennial Banfield's website during the weekend, 2/12-2/13, and found a COUPON that I was supposed to use to get the ""free office visit"" advertised on TV, although the TV ad had said NOTHING about needing a coupon. \r \r Clearly, if the Banfield website still had its coupon online on 2/12-2/13, the offer in fact did NOT expire on 2/6, as Dana told me by phone today.\r \r I am so disgusted with this apparent dishonesty that I have canceled my cat's follow-up visit set for 2/18, and Banfield will not get the opportunity to see any of my other five cats, for shots or illness or injury or for anything else. \r \r My wonderful vet, who had been treating my cats since 1989, recently retired, so I was searching for a new vet for my six cats. Banfield, however, will not get my business.\r \r In my view, Banfield's dishonesty cheated me out of ca. $35. In so doing, however, they have cheated themselves out of earning several thousand dollars from me in the coming years.
