Good food and lots of it. The service was a mixed bag. The waiter (obviously Indian) was very helpful, the female server (not Indian) did not know much about the food and to quote her "I do not like spicy food," when asked about menu items.\r \r I don't really feel competent to judge the food based on authenticity, but I can tell you I found everything to taste wonderful.\r \r They specialize in food from Southern India, but a look at the menu and you can find food from most any area of India. I have a friend from India so she recommended some things to try.\r \r We started with the Sambar and Idly. This was interesting and I really liked how everything came with several dipping sauces. We also had the Aloo Paratha and I want more!!! The garlic naan is also good.\r We had the King Prawns Tandoori, Lamb Vindaloo (Vindaloo is a specialty of my friend's area Goa), Chicken Tikka Masala, and Dal Makhani. Everything was delicious and I would order it all again.\r \r It was my birthday so my meal was free, and they brought a large piece of surprisingly very good chocolate cake.\r \r I really wanted to try a biryani and the Saag Paneer but could not convince the others to try this. Next time I will definitely try it. I'll try to catch the buffet next time to try a wider variety.
